Explore how stereotypes, prejudice, and implicit and explicit bias operate and impact us all, and how we can work together to dismantle its impact and work toward creating collaborative and inclusive spaces.

RACIAL EQUITY

2 day seminar

This course is designed for diverse groups of people working together and explores a breadth of topics including: intersectionality, privilege, racism, cultural humility and competency, stereotypes and biases. Participants explore subject matter through teaching, group exercises, and engagement, enabling participants to deepen understanding and relationships.

This workshop will help your team establish an inspiring picture of a future reality for the community you are impacting and the organization you will become. Identify your tag line and discover how to focus and communicate your mission to potential volunteers and donors in three seconds, thirty seconds and three minutes.

DEVELOPING A DYNAMIC STRATEGIC PLAN / 2hr workshop

Discover how to create a strategic plan that includes goals, objectives, action steps, short- and long-term inputs and outputs. Using the SWOT exercise and EEA’s gap analysis assessment tool, this workshop will help your team align for maximum impact.

FUNDING YOUR CAUSE

FINANCIAL FORECASTING AND BUDGET / 2hr workshop

Learn the importance of financial forecasting and use EEA’s financial forecasting template to learn how to create a one-year budget with comparative P&L and balance sheets.

DEVELOPING A FUNDRAISING STRATEGY / 2hr workshop

Learn how to align your strategic goals with a fundraising strategy, determine your annual fundraising events with your fundraising message and best practices for diversifying your funding sources.

DEVELOPING POWERFUL AND DIVERSE TEAMS

CULTURAL competency / 2hr workshop

Working on a team can have its challenges but working cross-culturally has additional advantages and challenges. This introductory workshop helps your team discover the basics of working across culture and race and includes: understanding culture, individual and group orientation, equality vs hierarchy, communication styles, task vs relationship orientation, and more.
